YOU’RE COVERED WITH FEATHERS by Susan Bozarth

​There is so much going on in our world today that it takes a daily dose of understanding and revelation of God’s protection to help us face our daily life and the threats that spew from so many sources of ‘information.’ Some years ago, I heard a story of a lady who was being assaulted. She was understandably frightened so she used the only weapon available to her, the Word of God. She didn’t have it memorized word for word, but she had memorized the principle truth. She cried out, “I’m covered with feathers; I’m covered with feathers!” The attackers were totally caught off guard, and quickly changed their minds about attacking this ‘crazy’ lady. At times you and I may not be able to quote scripture word for word, but read it, listen to it, memorize it, let it get down deep in your heart. Be equipped and ready for battle today as your read these excerpts from Psalm 91. -Susan

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” 

Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; ...You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. 

A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you... 

...No evil shall befall you...Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling...
