Clayton & Ainne Gonçalves - Brazil
Clayton and Ainne serve in remote communities in the Amazon region of Brazil. Every Saturday they have an evangelism Bible club for children and Bible studies with the youth, with many coming to know Jesus through this outreach. They visit people in the community, taking them to church services and programs, and also meeting their physical needs with food and clothing. They visit and minister to the elderly who cannot leave their homes, especially with the Covid restrictions. They recently installed two loud speakers in tall coconut trees and are able to transmit worship thru song and preaching the Gospel to many in the local community.
In the future, Clayton and Ainne hope to have a school to help tutor students in order to see them succeed in their educational goals; as well as provide adult literacy help while providing meals at the same time. Also, they are working toward bringing health professionals periodically into the remote communities.
