Piotr and Ania Bigus (Poland)
Piotr and Ania are involved in the ministry of pastor Marek Kiewra in Poland in the south western part of the country, which is blanketed with small towns and villages. Those local communities lack true relationship with Jesus Christ. Bound with meaningless religion they do not know the saving power of God. Piotr’s heart desire is to show them that there is a better way of life when you accept Jesus as your personal Savior. Piotr has graduated from Christ for The Nations Institute and holds Bachelors Degree in English Philology; and currently works as an English teacher and sees a great need to reach out to young people as they are the future of Poland. His desire is to move from part-time ministry to a full-time as God permits in the right time.
Piotr supports the pastor by preaching, teaching, interpreting at conferences, and praying for people. He has served as youth pastor and now helps to facilitate the men’s ministry. With God’s help he plans to evangelize his hometown and to start a home group there.
Over the years Piotr has participated in short term mission trips to: Czech Republic, Australia, Fiji and Cornwall in England. All those trips have taught him faith and trust; however, his focus is on family as well. Blessed with a caring wife and three children: Olivia, Daniel and Aleksandra; their desire is to be a good example of a godly family.
His mission is to “change the complexion of this country from the inside out.” Believing in scripture that says :
‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty. Zechariah 4:6
