Pastor Adam and his wife, Agnieszka, have been pastors of the “Wrocław for Jesus” Christian Fellowship (WDJ) for 24 years. WDJ is a dynamically developing church, and operates in the city Wrocław (in the south-west of Poland), but also has a significant impact on the whole Lower Silesia region. They have three children and a daughter-in-law: Julia, Daniel and Dawid with his wife, Kasia. The whole family is involved in serving the church.
Pastor Adam through his ministry, aims to help local churches support their cities and people in a real and practical way. Adam’s heart is filled with themes such as unity, working together, giving hope, responding to everyday struggles, and practical help - not just for believers, but in fact, mainly for people from outside the church. He is the coordinator of the Wrocław Covenant of Pastors, which consists of 16 churches. Their common goal is to conduct joint missions and social actions for the benefit of the city. One of the fruits of this co-operation is the now annual Renewal Festival, i.e. workshops, lectures, concerts and meetings, which are free of charge and available to everyone over a week each year. In 2019, the grand finale of the third edition of the festival, saw guest speaker Nick Vujicic speak to a crowd of over 20,000 people at the city’s soccer stadium – with the added media coverage, about one million people were reached with the gospel. Pastor Adam has also established a relationship with the “Come on, help” foundation, which supplies food to community fridges and feeds the needy on a regular basis.
A church of creative actions. Pastor Adam is always open to new initiatives carried out by WDJ members. He supports, initiates and, as far as possible, helps creates them along with others. One such project is: WDJ TV – a professional and creative team producing evangelistic materials on the Internet. WDJ TV is responsible for short films, online transmission of concerts, teaching seminars and services and many other similar kind of activities.
An important element of the WDJ church is the youth mission, Be The Light, which operates under Pastor Adam’s watchful eye. The group organizes evangelistic concerts, discussions, movie evenings, workshops - open to all young people. It is also a true gold mine of volunteers, who pray wholeheartedly and effectively and bring practical help to others. Presently, the group consists of about 100 people and is continually growing. Currently, the young people are working on creating a volunteer emergency center for Wroclaw.
