Kurt Ackermann & Family (El Salvador)
From 2000 to 2002, the Ackermann family was involved in short-term mission trips to El Salvador. It was hard for them to believe when God called them into full-time ministry in 2003. They had a successful floor covering business in Virginia and had just finished construction on their dream home. They knew specifically that God had called them to serve truly orphaned and abandoned children in El Salvador. They did not set a time frame on what God had called them to do there; they just knew what He wanted of them and they went.
The Ackermanns are serving the orphan children, working with communities, and feeding the homeless. They feel truly blessed to be able to serve them and God. The Lord continues to grow their ministry and is expanding their borders! He has entrusted them in running a full-time missions house for missionaries and groups.
