Cinnamon House Farm & Orchard -Piotr and Ania Bigus

Picture
We are believers in Poland who desire to see God move in power to transform this area despite the economic situation of this region, where people lack jobs and leave to work in other countries.  Families suffer and kids grow up without parents. We believe that Almighty God can transform this area both spiritually and physically. We believe that we can bless those people by sharing the Good News as well as giving them a chance to earn money.

It is our desire to turn the land we own into a beautiful and fruitful orchard (plantation). We want to grow Bareberry, Blueberry, Chokeberry, Cranberry, Black and Red Currant, Elderberry,
Gooseberry, Raspberry, Blackberry, Dogberry (Cornus fruit), Rose hip, Honeyberry, Strawberry, Wild Stawberry. All these wonderful fruits created by God can be turned into healthy, organic jams, juices and extracts. We're also going to make our own dried fruit teas.

First part of the land is nicely prepared (plowed and no weeds). This spring we are going to start planting bushes and trees. With some of them it is possible to have a small harvest the same year if we plant good plants. I know that organic jams and juices are going to sell well. I have made my own jams and juices for a few years now and I always run out of my supplies quickly. People are interested in healthy products. Many of those fruits are used in natural medicine to prevent sickness, strengthen the immune system and even help to cure diseases. For example, it is proven that chokeberry extract can increase effectiveness of pancreatic cancer treatment.

I am sure it is a good business idea. Business that is mission oriented and people oriented. We want to reach out to the local people both with the Word
of God and a helpful hand.

The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.  -Deuteronomy 28:8

There will be a few steps in this project:

  1. Plant first bushes in the field that is already prepared
  2. Build a fence and prepare second field
  3. Replace the roof on the house
  4. Turn our stable into a professional kitchen where jams and juices are made
  5. Open Bed and Breakfast on our farm
  6. Open a small bakery

If you would like to help there is an easy way to do it by donating here. You and your church can participle in this project.
