Angela Quashigah
Born into a family that practiced Christianity outwardly through church attendance and following rules, Angela experienced a personal transformation when she came to Christ as an individual. This journey deepened her understanding of the Christian life as a continual call to serve others humbly and intentionally wherever God leads, following Jesus’ example of reaching out to the most vulnerable.
Angela holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from the University of Florida and dual undergraduate degrees, a B.A. in Anthropology and a B.S. in Behavior and Ecology, from Central Washington University. She completed missionary training with Mercy Ships, serving on hospital ships along the coast of West Africa and participating in land-based outreach in Liberia, Ghana, Sierra Leone, and Benin.
Currently, Angela serves with Mustard Seed Malawi, sharing Christ’s love with children in some of Malawi’s most isolated rural villages. Her work focuses on early childhood education and community development, empowering the next generation of leaders to overcome poverty and grow in their faith. She is spearheading the development of a new community center at Mustard Seed Malawi’s Mount Zion location, which will provide preschool education, nutrition, health services, afterschool programs for youth, worship space for the community, and accommodation for missionaries and short-term volunteers.
Angela is married to Alex, and together they have two children, Ziona and Zakarius.
