Sławek & Beata Anuszkiewicz (Poland)
Sławek was born into a family where alcohol had taken a heavy toll—most of the men on his father’s side either died or lost their lives because of it. He grew up in a small town with one of the highest unemployment rates in the country, surrounded by hardship and brokenness.
In 1991, at the age of 15, Sławek experienced a life-changing encounter with God during an evangelistic outreach in his town, led by Pastor Marek Kiewra and a missionary from Australia. That moment not only transformed his life but also set a new course for his family’s history.
Since then, Sławek has faithfully served in the local church, which at the time had only recently been planted. Over the past 34 years, he has had the privilege of leading and serving in nearly every ministry—including worship, youth, children’s, home groups, prison outreach, evangelism, and eventually as an elder and assistant pastor. He has also taken part in mission trips to Africa and Brazil, experiences that continue to fuel his heart for the nations.
Together with Beata, Sławek has served under the leadership of Pastors Marek & Wanda Kiewra for more than three decades. On November 16, 2025, they will be ordained as senior pastors of New Life Church in Gryfów Śląski—the very church where they first came to faith. With God’s grace, they will continue the legacy of the Kiewras, trusting that God still has a powerful work to accomplish in their region and across Poland. Their prayer is that people in their town, region, and nation will come to know God in a personal relationship, not merely through religious tradition.
Family
Sławek and Beata married when he was 19 years old. Five years later, they adopted a beautiful two-month-old girl, Noemi, who is now an adult. Ten years ago, they also became foster parents to Maia, who was 1.5 years old at the time and continues to be a cherished part of their family today.
