Associate Missionaries

Those at Ministerio La Roca (Ministry of the Rock) believe in laying a firm foundation in Jesus Christ.  By doing so, they believe that God will raise up a community in service to Him; a community that will not only implement change in El Salvador but around the world.  Ministry of the Rock includes the ministries of Iglesia La Roca (Church on the Rock), Esther's Heart, and Esther's House.

Iglesia La Roca began in the home of Pastor Chavez, inviting their neighbors so that they could share the Gospel with them.  They started with an attendance of 6-10 people.  As the church expanded, they moved into a larger house where 20 people, including children, youth and adults met.  As they continued to grow they began to meet in the local community center.  The people in the community became eager to hear the message of Christ.  Iglesisa La Roca is now in their 4th location where 36 people attend regularly.  They count everything as a blessing from God, as they begin to see souls converted.  They have seen youth, children and adults, receive Christ and are excited to see the hand of God at work.
