Barbara Rodriguez PROJECT MISSIONARY |
From the moment Barbara was born again, the Lord called her into missions. She has traveled in Mexico and assisted in church building, as well as food and literature distribution. The Lord also sent her to Israel twice, the second time for three months to help a missionary family. After graduation from Christ For The Nations, the Lord sent Barbara to India for the All Himalayan Women's Conference, where she has taught and ministered three times.
In 2006, Barbara was in China for six months smuggling Bibles and teaching materials to the persecuted church of China. She traveled extensively throughout China, ministering and encouraging the missionaries of that country. In 2008-09, Barbara lived and served in Kyrgyzstan, where she worked in a small village teaching English, working with the youth, and doing a food outreach to the poor of the village. She also provided relief to another village devastated by an earthquake.
This year the Lord has changed her direction. He has led her to an inner city ministry in Dallas, called Youth with a Mission Dallas. She is working full time there, reaching out and ministering to the local children and their families. They have two church services for the children, homework clubs, and various other outreaches. They will be doing a large outreach for Christmas, reaching out to over 400 children and their families. In the summer they will travel to several Children's Camps in the U.S.
Besides that, Barbara will be doing Women's Conference in India, and a new one in Burkina Faso, Africa this year!
Her ministry is to bring the Kingdom of God into every place she goes. She is here to bring the fragrance of Christ to a dying world.
